Ru is a professional singer guitarist based in London. With over 10 years of experience, her career has taken her to high-end events across the UK and Europe.

Ru is a multi-genre artist, performing various styles – from Classic Jazz, Blues and Bossa Nova, to upbeat hit covers (including Pop, Funk and Soul, RnB, and House). A creative and industrious professional, her vast repertoire and extensive musical range has seen her perform at over 2000 live shows at world class venues, radio shows and festivals across the globe.

She has recently performed for crowds of over 70,000 music fans, at both Cargo and the Troubadour in London, Festival da Canção in Portugal, and the Liuna Downsview Park Festival in Toronto.

Since 2014, Ru has been recording in the studio and collaborating with various international artists including Cassell the Beatmaker (The Streets, Plan B, Ady Suleiman), Eric Appappoulay (Natasha Beddingfield), Dan Hewson (Madonna, Groove Armada), and Ronnie Scott’s residents Mulvey’s Medicine.
