Carleen has a Masters with Distinction from The Guildhall School of Music & Drama (London) and trained at The Cardiff International Academy of Voice.

Carleen’s career in opera has seen her work with companies including The Royal Opera, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, Barga Opera (Italy), Opéra de Baugé (France), Festival Opera (New Zealand), The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, The London Handel Orchestra and more. Carleen is an active professional and recently performed live on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’, presenting newly discovered classical work. She has also performed for many WW1 commemoration services internationally at the request of the NZ High Commission and NZ Embassy in Belgium.
